A first installation for Nutricate & Maitre’D!

Last September, Team Business Solutions proceeded to the first installation of a Nutricate system with Maitre’D POS. Nutricate is a nutritional analysis software providing customizable nutritional information on customer receipts.  The installation was done in the Sweetwater Union School District of California. 

Sweetwater is using the Nutricate receipt solution to provide nutritional information (calories, protein, fat & carbohydrates) to students based on their order at the school’s mobile coffee cart. In addition to providing nutritional information, Nutricate also offers tips on healthy eating and exercise on each receipt. The school plans to sell local advertising as well on the receipt to generate additional revenue and also deploy the Nutricate receipt at other dining services locations in the district.

“The Nutricate receipt has significantly impacted our students and the choices they are making about their daily food intake,” said Nancy Stewart, Food Services Director, Sweetwater Union School District. “We expect to see increased interest in nutrition and further adoption of the receipt in schools as it continues to affect the lives of our students.”

Sweetwater Union School District was founded in 1920 and has grown to more than 42,000 students in grades 7 through 12 and more than 32,000 adult learners. The district’s 32 campuses are located in the cities of Chula Vista, Imperial Beach, National City and San Diego, including the communities of Bonita, Eastlake, Otay Mesa, San Ysidro and South San Diego.
